Chime review

Excellent unit. My previous one eeked out a little better imitation of a real Westminster chime, but that was 20 years ago when everything was made better. Unit requires a full depression of doorbell to activate (everyone seems to instinctively do that). Works well for my situation... first you hear the ding dong from the regular doorbell in the front of house, then the Westminster chime kicks on in the back.Read full review...

Unfortunately, this really good device in no longer being manufactured. However a company called STI makes something comparable. A hard wired transmitter with a plug-in receiver bell.

Works with a buzzer!

I bought this For my mom. When she Is in the back room She cannot hear the side door buzzer. Now She has the chime to tell her someone is at the back door. And yes It does Work With A buzzer.
