Lot of life's association with this movie, can relate

I purchased this DVD, Cars, because my daughter and son-in-law who live in Plymouth, England watched it and told me there were a lot of scenes we could relate to and how funny and enjoyable this movie is. First, my husband was a truck driver and he was always battling sleepiness and crazy drivers around him, second I lived on a farm and the actions of the mooing tractors was hilarious because that is just what cattle do and I was always chasing them to make them do what they were suppose to and lastly, my husband use to race cars so he liked the race car and the dilema he was in and how he came out of it.
This was a very enjoyable movie. I took it home for Christmas and my Grandchildren enjoyed it again and again.Read full review...

Cars is a good movie from 2006.

The animation is great from what you expect from a Pixar movie. And the voice cast was good.

Cars -- Great for children of all ages!

Pixar has really outdone themselves with this one! Cars is one of the best children's movies I've seen in a long time!

The story has a good moral, plenty of humor and even romance. Children will sit mesmerized by Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. There is enough humor aimed at the older audience to keep their interest while not confusing the younger ones.

The animation is just amazing. The personification of cars gives the movie a cute quality that wouldn't have been there if the characters were human. At the end of the movie, you really feel like you've connected to the Lightning, Mater, Sally and the whole gang. It left me wanting to visit Radiator Springs.

"Cars" revs up good feelings.

This movie was a surprise. I'm not into cars and I never thought of watching this. But a friend recommended it and I was charmed by the movie. It's got a good message in it of loyalty to friendships, and it holds appeal for children, parents, and grandparents. I think it would be a good holiday movie to watch. Once the meal is over and everyone's tired, this would be a good movie for family and extended family to sit down to, with hot chocolate or a cup of tea, lit candles, and just sitting back and enjoying each other and the movie. It's the kind of movie that promotes good feelings. I just bought it for my dad for his Christmas present, with the sub-motive of getting the rest of the family to watch it on Christmas evening to end the hectic day with some relaxing down time together.Read full review...
