As for economics student one of those is a must.
Not sure if there is a point elaborating its functions, it's designated for people who deal with financial calculations such as interests, depreciation etc'... not intended for daily home use, if you can't resist the urge to calculate your bank interest from time to time and a simple calc won't cut it for some reason... go with the FC-100V.
The FC-200V is a perfect calculator for professional user.
I'm not sure the added functiones worth its price/value ratio over the FC-100... (as far as I can tell thats the only drawback)
Anyhow buying on eBay allowed me to get the FC-200V at closer price to the
FC-100V at my local retailer (with S&H included).Read full review...

Too Much Effort

This calculator is a good one for numerical diversity but at a cost of ease of operation. So many keystrokes to do something as simple as minor percentages.

The FC-200V is an excellent product for the calculation of the accounting year.
Definitely suited to those who use professional and is very easy to use.

Thousands separator in main screen output would make this calculator 5/5

Great financial calculator. easy to set. the only disadvantage is that it support thousands separators only in financial mode and not in Math mode (not like other financial calculators in market).
