This multi-functional watch does a lot, but the user interface is complicated.

My main motivation in buying this model was to track vertical feet skied. Although I know the watch has this function, and the manual devotes over 20 pages to a comprehensive and detailed discussion of all the altitude features, the manual does not provide clear step-by-step instructions HOW to automatically record and display ascent/descent data. I think that I can figure it out by carefully referencing and hand-outlining a step-by-step procedure, but every time I start to do this I get glassy-eyed and fall asleep. Maybe I will figure it out over the summer so it will be intuitive for next ski season, but I don't think a customer should be expected to do this. A YouTube how to video on the topic would be much appreciated. -Frustrated in Boulder, CO!Read full review...

Inferior to the much less expensive prw3500 1

I have two other prw3500 models and they are 1/2 the price of this one, and perform better.
First, the backlight of 3500t-7 is dim on one half, while the other 3500's have an even backlight which lights up the whole face.
Secondly, with all 3 watches in the same place, only the 3500t-7 won't synch with the atomic clock.
Still a good watch and I probably would have given it 4 stars if I didn't own the 2 other 3500's and didn't know that the 3500t-7 was inferior.
Save yourself $120 and get a 3500 1, instead.

Real men need real watches

Definitely a man's watch. I have big hands and big wrists so it looks just right. Seems any other watch looks like a toy on my big wrists accept for my Breitling Navitimer.. If you have small hands and wrists, this watch might not be for you. Once calibrated to a known elevation point, the altitude is remarkably accurate within 20ft and shows altitude changes from one floor of my house to the next. Not sure how well the altitude works underwater, My bathtub is only 2.5ft deep. The compass is great and the sliding bezel is handy for setting 'true north' or to set as a quick reference azimuth to your destination. I haven't tested the 200m (600ft) depth resistance but if I happen to sink in a boat in the deep part of Lake Ontario, my wife can follow up with this review to let you know if it stayed waterproof. Titanium band is cool and comfortable. Doesn't act like a hair tweezers on your wrist as some metal band watches do. Buttons are sturdy pushing them is deliberate. It's not like the watches with the 'hard to tell' slippery plastic buttons that you can't tell if you are pushing in low-no light conditions. Anyways, just my 2 cents. Bought mine used for $200.Read full review...

Tuff stuff: a great watch until the end of time.

This is really a watch that should last you until the end of time. Temperature, Barometric pressure to see if a storm is coming, Altitude, Solar power recharging, Digital magnetic compass, radio atomic time sinchronization, titanium case and strap with micro adjustments, lighweight as a feather, light, 100 m water resistance, chronometer, Alarms, GMT time for 36 cities...What else could you require from a watch? to have a fax machine or a laser beam on it?

Ah! all of this under US$200.00!

Only drawback is the mineral cristal, it would have been great to have a Saphire anti scratch cristal, but still, it's a great watch.

Better and better-looking than expected.

I've owned similar watches but this is the best of a good lot. It's full of useful features, with the titanium band lighter than you might think, and with the black-on-gray color scheme (I think) it looks sharp. Last but not least, the price I paid was was about the 1/3 of the MSRP. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.Read full review...
