Classic!

This CD is a classic, and if you are in to Bob Marley it is wirth getting. I bought it because recently I have started to appreciate reggae music, and I bought a box set of Bob Marley CDs which a love. I got this CD so that I could hear more of his songs that I didn't yet know. "Catch a Fire" came out when he was still with the Wailers, and it is nice to hear how they sounded like all together, because a lot of compilations of his music are mostly just him. There also are two songs on "Catch a Fire" that are sung by Peter Tosh. While, for the most part I like hearing Bob Marley better it is a nice change to hear Peter Tosh as well. Every single song on this CD is good. I highly recomend adding "Catch a Fire" to your collection.

Brilliant reggae

When the word reggae is said, many people tend to think of Bob Marley. It's because of albums like this why that is. Catch a Fire is one of Marley's finest recordings. Mr. Marley and the Wailers blend together perfectly, and you can feel the positive messages in the songs. Every single song on here has that perfect reggae feel, including the super popular "Stir it Up." No reggae collection should be without this album.Read full review...

i am a big fan of bob marley, i have pics, t shirts, music. and this cd is the first one i had heard back in the 70s it became a big part of my life. i never had the pleasure of going to his concerts or seeing him perform. but i have dvds, books and i feel i have met him. he was a wonderful talent. i miss him.Read full review...
