Amazing Port of an Already Awesome Game!
Great version of this game! I had previously played the WiiWare version and that was just the original Cave Story (which is an amazing game on its own). The + version of this game includes all of the Cave Story content with all of the bonus graphics and musics options and challenges. It is really cool to change the different graphics and music options (including the holiday overlays) to see all the little details the devs included. The physical version includes a manual and mini cd. One of biggest issues with the Wii version was playing using the Wiimote (my big hands would accidentally hit the triggers) so having this on Switch and access to play with a pro controller made this much more enjoyable. A classic title for a brand new console at an affordable price
Cave Story+ Seems to be a great way to experience this classic indie game. Works both docked and in hand held mode, so you can play it on a big screen or on the go.
You're getting the game itself, plus extra modes, wide screen support, different soundtracks to choose from, multiple save slots and so on. Not to mention the physical manual (which is a nice throwback to a different time when games used to include these) and a mini cd with the famitrack soundtrack, which is exclusive to this version of the game as far as I'm aware.Read full review

I usually don't like these Metrovania style games but this one peaked my interest when I saw someone reviewing it on YouTube. So I bought it and I'm glad I did. Fun gameplay, cute characters, and decent story. I've beaten it twice on Normal difficulty and started two more runs, one on Easy and one on Hard. Love this game.Read full review

This is a very good but challenging game. You need to keep up with it and learn to memorize patterns. One of the things that were frustrating is that you need to constantly save your progress and that you have to do a lot of back tracking.
