I was skeptical that I would be getting the real thing. The bottle didn't have a label on the bottom, but everything else looked the same. I sprayed 1 spray on 1 hand from my Chanel counter sample. On the other hand, I sprayed my new Gabrielle bottle. Each smelled the same instantly and over some time (30+ minutes). I still wonder why the bottom of the bottle has no label. However, I should also mention the bottle came with box and full packaging. Chanel aka $1 store brand

I smelled a sample of this perfume in a magazine and absolutely loved it. I typically don’t spend this much money on a single bottle of perfume but this one was a must! However, it didn’t as intoxicating as the sample I smelled! Not like totally completely black vs. white different but just not the same. My friend says it smelled “old ladyish”. I was like “it’s Chanel!” She says “hey, old ladies like Chanel too.” It doesn’t last very long either and the way it sprays reminds me of they cheap bottled perfume you get at the dollar store. Dies Not smell like the one my friend bought. Mine smells a little like the classic Chanel #5 which I don't care for at all. It might have been on the shelf for some time...not sure.

Gabrielle is a fine French parfum spray that is is priced at $140 - $150 in department stores; I was so pleased to find it for less.
