Not Cotton Canvas
I bought this to use to make cotton canvas duffle bags, but it's not made of cotton, its some kind nylon or poly fabric. I was able to confirm this by taking a lighter to a scrap piece of the tarp and it simply melted the synthetic materiel.
Still very strong and waterproof, but falsely advertised as cotton canvas.

Great for the price but not for the scent.
Make sure you open this product outside. Sadly it really had a strong enough smell that it stuck up my whole living space. I had to let it sit outside for 2 days. Then afterwards I put it on double rinse, hot, and heavy duty cycle in my washing machine. It still has a hint of a lingering scent.Read full review...
