The title accurately outlines the contents.

It's an accurate guide on how to do various bike maintenance tasks that are part of the bike ownership landscape. The quality and price of the publication are good and photos and wiring diagrams are clear and easily understood.Read full review...

Essential complement to electronic sources

Why a paper manual? Because when you are working on your bike or car, it has information not contained in you tube videos or mechanic's posts. This is for my '01 Concours. I took the upper fairing apart and then saw problems with some old clamps and cable guides. This book showed me what what right. I expect it will do this again and again. It also contains advice and ancillary information not easily found elsewhere. I am glad to have purchased this manual. It has already saved me time and money.Read full review...

DIY Fantasy Reading: Fixing your mechanical relics

This book is riveting reading for those of you who like to operate hand tools. You probably decided you needed to add this book to your collection after uttering foul language at a motorcycle you should have sold a long time ago. But you're not a quitter -- you'll adjust valve clearance because this book will instruct you on how to do it even if your real problem has more to do with inoperable brakes.

The author, Mr. Clymers, has written other short stories, including "fixing your crappy Mercury outboard motor", "what I did to keep my rusting, unsafe Suzuki going even though it burns more oil than a refinery" and his classic "F*** it. I'm calling the scrapper."

Note that if you own a malfunctioning motorcycle and are legally blind, this book is NOT available in braille. Potential users should also be aware that your greasy fingerprints will remain on the pages, helping law-enforcement tie you to that drunken murder of that college student a few years ago (so regrettable).
