WOW!!! GREAT MEDIUM!!
Works great in a 50/50 mix with a good premium soil. If you use it alone it seems that you will tend to have ph issues for it holds water very well so i use perlite to balance it out. If your going to use it to start seed it works very well with a heat mat and a shallow container on top with the seeds or cuttings. Usually takes 7-10 days with a little heat and humidity. Dont spend 30 bucks on just one bag of soil make your own!!! This really makes some nice organic soil when mixed. The whole entire brick will fill several 5 gallon buckets once the water is added. Love this stuff!!Read full review...

It's good stuff!
The directions were followed and it expanded as advertised. Coir absorbs water much more freely than peat moss which makes it a popular choice for landscape nurseries. It's easy to work with.

reliable coir
I use this bag for my vermicomposting and for planting holiday bulbs. Not too salt-laden. Easy to rehydrate.
