This is the only tire I'll mount on my tubular race wheel set. The black chili compound provides great grip and wear and the hand-sewn tires are always impeccable quality. I use valve the type of valve extenders that relocate the valve to the end of the extender and never have had any problems with any of these tires not holding pressure like I have sometimes had with other tires. Old school but #1 for the feeling... Nothing better than a tubular tire! 22mm, it's a bit hard but on the rails. And Black Chili tread ensures the grip. Fantastic on smooth surfaces.
