I have been always a SPD guy, I switched to the egg beater family and what a difference.
connecting and disconnecting is very simple and especial disconnecting you feel very safe as it is easy and natural compared to my XTR and XT SPD. once you are connected you feel very secure and the connection has never opened during hard technical rides.
One thing you need to pay attention is one drop of oil on the spring mechanize to make the in and out easy, follow the instructions on the booklet.
