Great Society Subway is a Great Read

I typically don't go out of my way to buy a hardcover book for my personal enjoyment. But this book, The Great Society Subway, described Lyndon Johnson's plan of a great society. While for the past 30 years, the government promoted the use of cars, this book describes the change of thought that some individuals had, that led to the creation of the DC Metro. Although written and published by a professor, this is definitely not wordy, and at the layman's level for comprehension.Read full review...
