this movie stars reese witherspoon,sarah mmichelle gellar andryan phillipe.this movie is about a spoiled rich half brother and sister.(ryan and sarah). they go to a private catholic school. sarah pretends to be the goodstudent,class president,etc... ryans the student whos fame is seeing how many women he can sleep with. they are really in love with each other. they plot together and play cruel things on people. any one they dont like or disagree with. reese is the daughter of the schools new headmaster. shes very religous and a virgin. sarah and ryan make a bet. ryans latest conquest will be the headmasters daughter.ryans prize possession is his journal where he record all the women he has conquered. when sarah realizes ryan is in love with reese,she gets upset and turns on ryan.ryan gives reese his journal and tries to explain he really likes her.sarahs revenge on ryan winds up in his death. the movie ends up at ryans funeral. as sarah gets up to speak,the kids all get up to leave. reese has made copies of the journal and is handing them out to all the classmates. the journal even has a page about sarah. the class mates look at her in disgust as they read about the real sarah.the movie ends with reese driving ryans car with a smile with the the journal sitting next to her. the brother and sister who had all these evil plots payed for it in the end, great movie,you have to see it to appreciate it!!! threres so much i could tell about the mvie,but you need to watch it.Read full review...

Cruel Intentions is very sexually erotic and a must see

Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Selma Blair and Ryan Phillippe made this movie. Combined with all their talents they created a movie that can NEVER be remade in any fashion! It is highly erotic and set in the very upper class world of the wealthy. SEX is the name of the game and what a game it is. Despite Mr. Phillipe and Ms. Witherspoon being married during the making of this film one would never guess by their acting that they have a connection such as that in the real world. There are many scenes that make you laugh and it is a great piece for women that are often seen as those that have little interest in sex. This movie shows the truth and brings out in the open that women do want love but they also enjoy pleasure and will sometimes do anything they need to for those desires to be fulfilled! It also shows that despite men being thought of as liars and game players that a man can find love if he allows himself to do so!! A must see but it is rated R and I strongly suggest by the material and subject matter that children under 15 not be allowed to even be consider as a viewing audience!!

Crazy, Sexy, Cruel..

cruel intentions is the classy way to play. With a sexy set of heart throb characters who cant go wrong. ryan phillippe(sebastain) & reese witherspoon(annette) innocent, yet hot love interrest, really shakes things up. along with sarah michelle gellar (kathryn) evil, backstabbing ways to get what ever she wants.
oh, what to do when the slick, sexy, conniving heart breaker sebastain falls head over heals for the elegant, proper, old fashioned annette. kathryn (sebastains's step. sister) wont have it.
although the story-line and plot was great, i really wish it had some what of a different ending. tisk tisk :(.Read full review...

Great Movie!!!

One of my favorites. Sarah Michelle Gellar is amazing..... seductive, deceptive, and pure evil. Ryan Phillipe is decent, but I'm not a really big fan of his. Reese Witherspoon does well in this film, as does Selma Blair. However, Sarah Michelle definitely steals the show!
The novel that this movie was based on also had another film rendition done in the 90's, I believe. Maybe the eighties, but its name is Dangerous Liaisons, and is also a great movie, though it is very similar to the novel; thus, it is set back hundreds of years ago, unlike Cruel Intentions. Both films are great renditions of the amazing novel.Read full review...

Cruel Intentions

Cruel Intentions is a teen movie unlike any other. The relationships between the step-siblings Katherine and Sebastian are unreal, the hate and the desire, and their lifestyle of manipulating and humiliating others is an awesome show of the dark side of humanity. This movie is also about the evolution of Sebastian's personality from a dark, emotionless person to the caring and loving person buried deep inside. As the deal between Sebastian and his step-sister unfolds, the unsuspecting Annette falls for the "kind" Sebastian as he tries to seduce her into bed. Unbeknown to both of them, a love greater than any deal forms between to two, ultimately changing Sebastian for life. Ryan Phillipe is hot!

Ryan is just eye candy and seeing Sara Michelle Gellar in a bad girl role is just something you have to think about. And seeing predictable good girl Reese Witherspoon in the same movie with her husband, makes it all more interesting. Plus I love the plot, theme and the entire storyline. Excellent movie,worth watching!

Cruel intentions is a great movie albeit it's extreme sexual overtones and tendency to display promiscuity. The plot deepens as the movie continues ultimately leading up to a satisfying and emotional ending.After watching I bought a copy for my older sister as well.Read full review...
