Good quality but design limitations.

The only drawback is that my door opens into the back yard, it does not swing outward towards the front yard. . Therefore the main part of the mechanism is inside the fence meaning that if I want to enter from the front yard (which is the main reason for the lock), I needed to attach a wire lanyard to enable me to pull up the latch from the opposite side of the fence after unlocking with the key. Putting the mechanism of the other side of the fence would mean the horizontal bolt would be fixed to the fence post sticking into the doorway and so it would likely catch on clothing or other things being moved thru the doorway.Read full review...
