The coolest strings

I first put these on my hollow body jazz guitar. I loved the feel, sound and ease of use.
I took a chance and put them on my little grand master acoustic electric with an upgraded very high quality Fishman preamp.
The sound is incredible both acoustically and when recording with it. No finger fatigue and no squeaks when traveling the neck.
They are worth every penny.
Due to the light gauge I did have to make a neck adjustment. If you do not know how to make neck adjustments stay with the gauge you normally use.
Happy picking🎶

If your style suits them, they are great.

I used to play on these strings years ago, and really enjoyed the mellow tone and way they felt. For the style of music I was playing back then, these strings were perfect. I decided to try them out again on my last restring, and my playing style has changed to a more bendy less slidey (sorry to get so "technical" with my nomenclature) style. These strings are significantly more work to bend than nickel round wound of similar gauge. Depending on how you play these strings can be a joy or a nightmare to play on. I broke the g string (giggitty) forcing a bend that would have come easily on a set of nickels.Read full review...

Good Strings

These strings sound good on my Deluxe Reverb with a 1985 Epiphone Emperor. They could be just a bit brighter. They are easy on the fingers and there is no finger noise as you slide along the fretboard. I like these and the D'Addario EXL110w. Read full review...

I like the sound & feel of these strings.

These are very smooth and easy to play strings. Very quiet ! I wish they would make 9-46 strings.
I play flat wounds on my strat, and tele. They are warmer sounding then regular wound strings.

As I said above these are a mellow string ( slowe blues and quiet slow songs).Very bendable. Title is good.

I always use these guitar strings. They are a little mellow playing strings as I like playing more mellow blues. If people are more high toned players get more brighter sounding strings.

Great Light Jazz Strings

I have been using various models of these stings on my jazz guitars. And they all sound great and play very well -- flat or wound, all gauges, makes no difference. Great strings.

Love them ....

I play with a very heavy hand (press the strings down way to hard), and I notch my frets. Changing the frets will cost hundreds of dollars. The standard string that are round-wound will dig into the fret wires like a file (have you noticed the squeaking noise just on your fingers?). So, I got these flat-wound strings. The flat-would is a slightly duller sound, but once you get use to the sound, they will protect your frets, and no squeaking from your fingers when playing. I have been using them now for over a year, and I love the smooth feel. And, there is no noticeable fret wear, and no more notches. And yes, I still play with a heavy hand.Read full review...

My Fav

I'm getting back into guitar after a long while and I remember using flatwound from the 70's and loved them. They feel just as sweet as they do now. Some songs sound better on flatwound's. Get a set, try them, and I think you will be impressed too.
Happy camper

Daddario chrome flatwound extra light are the strings you want for no string noise!

When I put these strings on my guitar I was not ready for the silence... they are great! There is no fret noise, and they sound great! And I think to myself if only I had access to these strings earlier! Thank you for selling these strings!Read full review...
