Hurah for D-Link Tech Support

Had D-Link 524 wireless router that repeatedly locked up every time there was a power surge. Tried replacing with a Cisco Router but setup of this unit was next to impossible and I returned it. Bought the DIR 615, but software would not install and gave me an error code. Downloaded the setup program from D-Links website, but it would not detect the router durring network setup. At this point I was totally disapointed with my purchase, untill I contacted D-Link customer support who made the purchase worth while, not only did they walk me through setup but also set up my security option for the wireless connection to my laptop. Bad Router

I recieved the 2nd D-Link router last week, and this time it powered up but it never connected to internet. I tried all the ways over the weekend, I called the D-Link support and they also did not fix the probelm and finally they said that it may be issue with the router. I have my old Linksys router and it connects well and I can use the wireless all over the home. So it not the issue with my internet nor my 2 laptops.

This is frustrating with the products that you sell on ebay and this the second time I am facing will this unless crap that you all sent me. I am totally dissappointed and I want to return this and get my money back. I will never buy any products Reforger and I am going to contact ebay and tell them the same. Please let me know the process to get my money back.

D-link DIR-615 Wireless Router

I recently purchased a laptop with Wi-Fi capability and wanted a router for my home network. In searching the reviews for various brands, one thing I noticed about the D-link router was its apparent ease of set-up. That was the main reason for choosing it over others. I found the directions easy to follow and it worked right away. I'm not a novice, but I'm far from being an expert, so I was very happy with this result. I have not had any problems (dropped signals, etc.)and would recommend this router to anyone who wants a good product that has clear instructions for installation and is relatively inexpensive.Read full review...

I have not been able to get this router to respond. I have gone through the setup instructions several times but still get no response from the router. I have not contacted the seller yet...been very busy...

Gets disconnected

Though there is no problem with item description or shipping, the device gets disconnected very often. I have to restart every now and then. And when it disconnects, all the lights remain green solid which means it's all working. Not satisfied.Read full review...

I was able to easily install DD-WRT software to unlock the full potential of this router. You can't use it as a repeater though if that's what you're looking for.

D-Link DIR-615

I decided on this d-link product because I wanted the ease of wireless, with the range of an N router. So I gave the DIR-615 a try. I am very impressed with the added speed of my devices that remain in close contact with the router. However the main reason on my purchase was the blu-ray player in the bedroom with wireless compatibility. I only noticed a slight increase in signal from the upgrade. But the ease of use, and design of product are very good. I would recommend this product to anyone who has access to the N signal.Read full review...
