Lightweight and compact
Like most other DeWalt tools this tool does the job. Now I can replace my OLD LONG 18V DeWalt Reciprocating Saw. This one has more power and is easier to handle.

Good tough saw
This saw is great. I have been cutting locust trees with it. I run the batteries down pretty fast but it wasnt made for this big of a job, but it is doing the job with limb trimming blades. Its tough and I'm getting the trees cleared, I really like it.Read full review...

I bought this saw to saw a light can in the attic between studs and as flush as I could to the surface. With no cord to drag, I felt much safer and control. Pretty good for this model
The only reason it's not a 5 star is because it's not the brushless model, but I knew that when I ordered it. A good value for the price. I did a fair amount of heavy cutting with it on a 4ah battery and a 12' carbide pruning blade and still haven't completely drained it.
