DeWalt did well here.
I am reviewing this as well as the "combo set" that I bought this to replace the drill in.
I use the drill set for a variety of jobs both business and personal related.>The weight is moderate, used heavier and lighter drills, but the batteries seem to be the root of that concern.
Even with the battery they did well balancing the drill to avoid fatigue when using.
The drills seem to hold their power well and when you run low it doesn't take long to charge.
I can be running low at the end of one job (hanging signs) and toss it on the charger in the truck and be ready to go again at the next site.
Or I can swap the two batteries out between the drills on site while I wait for the other to charge.
Works well for me with the two types of drills so that I can drill anything with one then run screws in with the other. I installed the quick connect bit to the drill (the impact drill already comes with that) and then swap out bits when needed.
You can buy a set of quick connect drill bits for the impact drill (regular bits/concrete bits/etc.) and it makes it really sweet to size up your hole when drilling something hard.
Have done a lot of drilling into concrete/brick as well and the impact feature REALLY helps there.
The case is nice but would be nicer if there was just a little more length or they could arrange the drills better so I could leave the drill bit in the impact driver and the regular drill. There is enough room for the regular drill with a quick connect add on as well as the bit, but not even a small bit in the impact driver.
All in all has held up well for me.
After years of use the chuck froze up on my last one, hence the reason for this purchase to keep the set active.

A good used Dewalt drill that still works!

Not expecting a lot from an older model drill that has been used for many years. Drill was in good condition, definitely some wear, but works fine for the two batteries I had for this model.

I think this Dewalt DC720 is a great drill!

I was surprised at how powerful and feature rich this drill was when I received it. I spent a good time spinning the chuck and trying all the buttons and adjustments. A great buy for the bucks!
