Best gameplay in the Dead or Alive series, but I wish there was more to do.

Not my personal favorite in the series, but is considered the best by many who play fighting games competitively. When it comes to 3D fighting games today, I personally dont think any can top Dead or Alive. It's easy to get into and have fun with for anyone but has some deep gameplay mechanics for the more dedicated gamers. That gameplay for more dedicated gamers is found at it's best in Dead or Alive 3, but for those just looking for a good time and might have a hard time finding people to play with there isn't as much to do in DOA3 as there is in DOA2 Ultimate or DOA4, other than beating the game with each character to see their endings. As with any Dead or Alive since 2, I can recomend this as a game for friends to get together or the whole family because it's one of the few fighting games that allows for 4 players to have fun at the same time, and even though it's an early Xbox release the graphics still hold up beautifully today.Read full review...

DOA 3: One of the best games I know of.

This game is amazing. I admit, the fighting and graphics could be better, but it is still very fun to play. If you like button mashers, then this game is perfect for you. If you hate button mashers, don't fear, there are many different moves and combinations you can learn and utilize. This game is fun for me(I'm not an advanced gamer, but I consider myself pretty good), and perfect for my wife(she's not much of a gamer, very little patience, and lacks coordination). DOA 3 Incomplete.

I cought this game,because I played every DOA game but 3. I bought it expecting to be simular to 2 and/or 4. But what I get is a game that incomplete. No new costumes unless you get bounse disc. Gameplay has changed a heck of a lot. need to use the D-pad to create combos instead of tabbing Punch of Kick. And the game just feels incomplete. Compared to recent DOA 4..this game seems to be grahpicly lovely, I mean stages are awsome. but game play is needed, and this game doesnt have the gameplay..If you wanna game and got a 360. just go get 4, its alot better than this..but if your willing to try by all means test DOA 3 for yourself.Read full review...

Great 3D fighting game!

Dead or Alive 3 is a follow up to Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2. This one is the best in series, hands down and a very good game on it's own! The graphics are the most impressive thing about this game, they're just awesome!!! And the sound is good too. The gameplay is great, but not so fast. The story-line is kind of weird, feels too japaneese. And there's a lot of that dumb japaneese stuff in this game, there's no need for that at all. The game would've been much better if the japaneese humor wasn't there. But still, this is a great 3D fighting and is highly recommended to all the Xbox owners out there!Read full review...

Dead or Alive 3 is a great fighter! I have played a great number of them in my time and this is one of the best.Controls are easy to learn, graphics are out of this world and I'm not just talking about the girls you can play.It's also one that you do not trie of quicky.If you are looking for a great fighter to try this game series is one of best to go with.Up to 4 players can play in a tag team mode and much more and or those of you who love playing online it as that as well.Read full review...
