FANS OF RESIDENT EVIL 4 IT IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PROS: If you love survival horror games then you will love this. Original story line, great voice acting, unique creatures and weapons. This one of the few games that made me jump and scream in fear. It plays like Resident Evil 4, but in the future with more bad ass weapons.
CONS: When you beat the game on the medium difficulty it lets you start over with all your upgraded weapons and cash that you've earned and a level 6 suit. The bummer is that you can't continue with all the goods on the harder difficulty. It only lets you do medium again, if I would have known this I would have beaten it on hard first. Then unlocked the "Impossible" Difficulty and started with all the goods. Other than that I had an amazing time playing this game. This is one of the few that will stand out ahead of its time in the future.
RECOMMENDATION: I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a sweet one player survival horror game. If you loved Resident Evil 4 you will fall in love with this without a doubt.Read full review...
Game of the Year Election 08'- Dead Space!!!
The Good
- Gorgeous visuals; creepy atmosphere; sounds are dead on; engaging story
- Awesome weapons that you can upgrade as you go along allowing for a lot of replay value since you're weapons will be stronger the next time around
- Interesting and unique levels with some crazy enemies that have you constantly on your toes
- Huge boss battles!!!
The Bad

- Finding power nodes to upgrade your weapons takes awhile
- No multiplayer

Best game Ive played in years
Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I bought Dead Space. I was going back and purchasing games I had missed over the past few years. However, Dead Space quickly drew me in with its eye-popping graphics. Everything from the zero-g sections, to the flight deck, to the engine room, was completely amazing. someone spent a lot of time designing these levels. I even liked it better than Crysis, and the new Resident Evil game for the Playstation 3. This game also scared me. More than once I yelled out loud! I hope more people pick up this game and enjoy it. and watch for the sequel coming for the Wii later this year.Read full review...

It is one of my best 1st person shooting games that i have ever played ( among half-life1-2 , Doom1-3 , duke nuked 3d ,etc )
It is very fun and It motivates me to play it again and again.
Moreover, It is a good idea that game allows you to unlock new armor and new difficult level to play and you can keep your high level character to play another round
con from this game is shortage of new armor style in PC version. In pc version, you can unlock only soldier armor . However, in Console version , you can get a lot of armors. ( but you need to pay more for those stuffs, if i am right , it is a DLC )

Unbelieveable game!
Amazing survival horror game, graphics are extraordinary, sound is terrifying, gameplay is great. The only problem I have had is that the game does not support the logitec cordless rumblepad 2. I am extremely frustrated because of this. I don't know whether to blame logitech or EA. Also, there is a very small (almost imperceptible lag) in input in either gamepad (logitech dual action) or the mouse and keyboard. But you its pretty much unnoticeable during gameplay, it helps to turn V-sync off. I am running it on medium-high visuals on a Dell XPS M1330 laptop 2.4Gh processor, 4GB ram, 128 Mb dedicated Nvidia graphics card. The game plays smoothly.Read full review...
If you are hesitant to buy this game- don't be!
Not since the game System Shock,have i been able to say "That scared the $!*#@ out of me!" Well actually, there are a few others out there, but this one ranks up there with the ones you can say this about. I most like to play this alone in a dark room for maximum effect. Only thing i am not liking: Occasionally i need to alt-tab to Windows for different reasons, and Dead Space don't like it. In fairness i think its a ATI Catalyst driver issue- so that's on me or ATI. SERIOUSLY, YOU MUST PLAY THIS GAME!!!
One of the best survival horror games out there. Amazing graphics, flawless game engine, engaging storyline, probably the best sound FX I've heard from a game in years, very creepy foes, excellent voice overs, very rewarding use of weapons due to the game's "tactical dismemberment" feature, just play this thing!!! In this rare occasion I have NOTHING bad to say about this game. 10/10 in my book.
One tech issue: turning off the vertical sync is recommended, it doesn't need it and it slows down the game for some reason.Read full review...
dead space game review
the game is a 3rd person meets 1rst person shooter with a doom 3 like experience. the only down fall to this game is its to linier as far as game play, however that game has a kick ass story with a surprise ending leading to a part 2. the graphics are extraordinary mixed with 3d surround. Dead Space is a game for sf/horror fans. The game play is well done. Levels hold one's interest. Graphics are good. Audio running through my stereo is good (Technics power amp w/Infinity floor standing speakers). I can play the game on my Intel dual core (1.86 ghz), 7900gtx video card, 4gb with an acceptable frame rate.Read full review...
