Decoration Day by Drive-By Truckers

I rate this just slightly below excellant. I'm a long time DBT fan from N. Alabama. There are only a couple of mediocre tunes on this CD. The rest are great. Sink Hole, My Sweet Annette and the title cut are true masterpiecies of moder southern rock. "Sounds better in the song" holds a special place in my heart like the lady it makes me think of, (Good job, Cooley.) This CD gets stuck in my player for months at a time. This is the second one I've bought. Giving it too my best friend.

Very enjoyable CD album

This is a really good album. I like all the songs although some are sad but not too sad that prevents you from listening to it again. The songs tell stories, which is something you don't get much anymore.Read full review...

A few incredible songs

The songs that I liked are some of my all time favorites, like Sink Hole and Decoration Day. These two songs are well worth buying this album. Some of the other songs are pretty good too. Anyone who has not heard of the Drive By Truckers, this is the album to start with. It is what southern rock is all about. Tell you friends, tell your family. There's something in it for everyone!!
