POW's story needs to be told and Mr. Townley did it correctly. These POWs are real. This isn't a fictional book.

I wore the bracelet of Lt. Cmdr. Robert H. Shumaker until he came home. I have met him twice and am still amazed at him not only surviving but thriving upon his return. These men are true Americans and the more people that know what they went through the better they'll understand what our men and women do to protect us on a daily basis. This is a book that not only needs to be read but kept to read again and again. Buy these book for gifts, buy this book for the shear history of it. Just buy it. Trust me. You won't be the same. You'll appreciate your life much more or at least you should. Thank a veteran, any veteran, no matter not conflict they served in, no matter their age.
