I don't think this game gets the credit it deserves. Awesome characters and storyline. You can play coop or your own campaign. Must have good Internet tho. Evolving Halo into a RPG isn't as easy as you would expect

Destiny, the Bungie shooter of 2014 brings familiar gameplay matched with RPG elements to provide a unique experience.

One of the first things I noticed playing the game on the Xbox 360 was the 'tuned down' graphics compared to the next-gen console trailers I had seen.

The single player mission-oriented part of the game was engaging for several hours, but the multiplayer "Crucible" took my focus quickly.
Despite having time based instant-kill 'supers' the multiplayer seemed balanced but unique each round. The upgradeable weapons are reminiscent to other shooters, but there are some RPG grind elements that can either be addicting or tedious depending on what you enjoy.

The lack of matchmaking for "end-game" single player content limits you to playing with friends. (or not at all if you cannot coordinate playing at the same times consistently)Read full review...

Destiny is a grinder's paradise.

I will start off by saying that you will be doing a lot of grinding in Destiny. You will be repeating the same missions over and over again whether you are doing the main storyline or out on patrol. You will spend hours farming for better equipment, trying to raise your vanguard rank, and earn vanguard marks. Also, you will not get a deep storyline out of this game. In fact, you will practically know nothing of the enemy you are facing or the history of this universe. The only way you are going to get any real answers is to stop playing the game, go on your computer, go on Bungie.net, and create an account. There you will have a detailed account of the Destiny universe. Despite all of that the gameplay can be very addicting and will have fun interacting with other players. So if you don't mind the lack of story you might want to give destiny a try.Read full review...

Epic game! Blows Call Of Duty Away & that was my fave game ever. ADDICTIVE!

Best game ever! Do not buy unless you plan on getting very addicted. Very hard to stop playing. You are enthralled in battle and feel like you are really killing aliens while joining forces with others online. I am typically a COD girl, but this blows Call Of Duty out of the water! Much better than I thought it would be. A++++ My only peeve is that I can't play split screen with my husband. I hope they add that to the next one. Pretty good but not as good as I thought it would be

Sorta like borderlands but always online, disappointing that there is no solo offline campaign. Don't know how well the replay value for this game will hold in 10 years from now since its an online only game. I know servers of games that are old will discontinue for multiplayer such as original xbox games but you can still play those today just not online. However with this game from a collectors point 30 years from now you may no longer get to play it yet your atari console may work fine lol. Don't get me wrong its a fun game, graphics and scenery are breathtaking and is defiantly worth checking out.Read full review...

work good at first

put disk was playing it, then day 3 the games started freezing, and now everytime I start game up it has to install, and sometime. it will not install. problems

VERY time consuming.

Combat is like HALO. Not a bad thing, I just hoped for a new gameplay experience.
Really hard to tell if progress is being made. Earned weapons and amor don't get added.
Many missions are aimless and VERY long, even if you do well. No pause and save features. Too much progress lost because of this.Read full review...
