Devil May Care, but you might not.
I was excited to finally read a new Bond novel, and have been looking forward to it. Unfortunately this latest Bond doesn't live up to past novels. It lacks depth and detail. Characters aren't developed enough in their story line. Not to mention a lack of even the smallest gadgetry. I know the 2 movies with Daniel Craig also lack these, but thats what Bond was always known for, and I love those movies. If you've ever read a novel about Dirk Pitt by Clive Cussler you couldn't help but make a comparison. This book could have been better and more interesting.Read full review...
Cracking 007 thriller, written in Ian Fleming's voice.
All good, thank you.

007 is back
Finally we have someone to continue the Bond saga who has the Fleming feel for the genre. Well written, well paced and very timely. We were ready for this.
Devil May Care by Sebastian Faulks
Love anything James Bond. I am about a third of the way thru the book and it is good! Had to have the books that go along with James Bond, I am only missing a few. Sebastian Faulks is writing as Ian Fleming and I think he did a good job!Read full review...
