So much more than a Mario Kart clone.

Whenever you see this game, you might think that it is just going to be another version of Mario Kart. This is not the case. While the game involves around driving carts and other vehicles, that is about where the similarities end. This game is fun in its own right and does not draw from the success of Mario Kart nearly as much as it could have. It tries to stand on its own and it succeeds. For anyone who has a Nintendo 64, then this is a game that should be in your collection. Lots of Fun

Diddy Kong Racing is a racing game for N64 that is good. It's not as fun as Mario Kart 64...but there are a lot of bonus features you could get into in one player mode (such as adventure, key collecting boss racing...). It's good if your playing alone...but I prefer MArio KArt 64 when playing with friends.Read full review...

DIDDY KONG HAS DONE IT AGAIN

This is a great racing game. Some would associate it to Mario Kart but I think its an entirely different concept. Sure they both primarily involve racing but with the 3 different vehicles to race in, the game can be quite entertaining. This game is a must have. Awesome game!

This is an awesome game! It has a sweet twist on Mario Kart 64. There are more players rather than just the classic Mario Brothers characters that Mario Kart 64 has. Diddy Kong and his friends are trying to collect balloons by winning races in a car, in a plane, and in a hovercraft! That is a nice change from Mario Kart as well, where you can only race in a car. I purchased this game because I played it when I was younger. Diddy Kong Racing is a Nintendo Racing Game that is really great... LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME, FUN GREAT FOR ALL AGES AND IS AWESOME FAMILY FUN RACING. IT CAN BE HARD TO FIND LOCALLY AT PAWN STORES OR SECONDHAND SINCE THE NEW WII AND PS3 CAME OUT BUT IT IS AVAILABLE ONLINE AT EBAY IN SO MANY AUCTIONS NEW OR USED AMAZINGLY. THERE ARE OTHER ONLINE PLACES TO BUY I THINK BUT EBAY IS THE CHEAPEST AND EASIEST WAY FOR ME TO BUY SO THAT'S WHERE I GOT OURS.
