For 50 dollars it's the best vacuum!

My other vacuum has finally stopped working. With the pinch in my pocket I had to think cheap.
After researching and scavenging this bugger seems to be the best deal out of all.

Despite the light build of the vacuum it seems to be able to withstand a brutal cleaning session. The suction and the spinner brush are very strong, sacrificing with a couple more decibels to your ears. I personally found no problem that at all.

Getting the tube in and out frequently (for crevice cleaning) can be a bit annoying, but it's tolerable.

The only real problem I encountered is that the top cord holder wasn't in place, and it's nearly impossible to put it there. The manual says nothing about it, so I'm assuming that it's just this one. Not a crippling problem though. The cord stays wound, but the holder pops off when I want to use the vacuum.

Otherwise, if you don't have a lot of carpet and are tight on money, this this thing will fit right in. Don't let its plastic looks get you. The performance will do the price justice.Read full review...

This is my second Dirt Devil, I had the last one for over 10 years. It's lightweight and works on bare floors as well as carpet. My previous one had a metal body, but this newer model is all plastic, which I don't care for, but other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase, and in my opinion this vac is better than some of the bagless vacs I have tried.Read full review...

I would definately buy this again

Just bought this vacuum a month ago so I can't tell you how it will hold up long term. It is ALL plastic so I don't imagine I will get 20 years out of it like I did my last vacuum ...but I only paid $52 and not $400, like I did my last vacuum.

I think it is a great vacuum for the money. It doesn't pick up as well as I would like, but I have 5 long-hair cats and 2 very large dogs. Most households probably wouldn't put it thru this kind of use.

It is LOUD! All my animals hide when I turn it on. It is light weight and very easy to push....It pulls itself along. I like having the attachments right there at my finger tips.

My son, who just bought his first house bought one and loves it, but he has no kids and no pets. Bottom line. After using this vacuum, I would never spend hundreds of dollars for one of those overpriced units again. If I have to replace it in 5 years, what have I lost?Read full review...

Great Upright Cleaner with bag

I really like this product, has all the attachments I need and powerful pick-up. I like the product too because it is so light and was easy to assemble. Dirt Devil M085590 Upright Cleaner

I was in the market for a "bagged" vacuum and this was reasonably priced and has worked great ever since I purchased. There's been nothing so far that I dislike so it must be "love" (ha, ha, ha).
