A FUN movie!!
A big sci-fi/horror fan and this is one of my alltime favorites. Not horror but coud have been and I am glad they didnt try to make it so. It is absolutely perfect the way it is. I will watch again for years. Not too many movies I can say that about.Read full review...
District 9
The way the movie was shot was terrific. It felt like you were immersed in the movie instead of being an outsider. The special effects were incredible, the way the interviews are conducted with the people living in and around district 9 make it one of the best sci-fi movies out. District 9 (Blu-ray)
I really liked this movie. The special effect were really good. Some great gross stuff and good story line. In Blu-ray it looks great and a must for Sci-Fi fans.
Interesting Premise
Interesting premise-pretty gory scenes. A rather believable though unlikely scenario. Not sure I would want younger children to see it although there is a good morality lesson for older ones.
District 9 Disappoints
Don't waste your money on this crummy attempt at science fiction. I fast forwared through most of it as the action and story line is agonizingly slow and then after investing all that time the viewer is soundly cheated out of an effective plot and the conclusion is just well, dumb.

Great movie i give it 5 stars it represents what we as humans would do if Aliens landed on our planet. Yes we are so barbaric that we would stick the Aliens in camps with poor housing and little food and abuse them. A very realistic movie that will happen one day. Highly recommended to all.

District 9 - PHENOMINAL!!!
Awesome movie!! I can see why it was up for 4 Oscars!! I wish I had seen it sooner, but it came out the day after my husband died. I don't have much of a memory of 2009 or 2010. Sharlto Copley is a superb actor. I never heard of him before this. Looking forward to a sequel of D9!!Read full review...
