A good training system
I just ordered a new Dogtra 1900S system as the one I've had and, is advertised/waterproof was not. I had the unit for approx 3 years and it really did quite well until today, when it got wet and died. (took it apart and dried all I could)....I had replaced the collar battery only once and never did have to replace the hand remote, so all in all it's worth the money. Read full review...

BIG DOG'S ONLY
I have a 90lb+ half German Shepherd half Great Pyrenees and the collar fits fine and works great. I have used this product for several weeks now with no issues at all. The unit stays charged for roughly a week depending on usage and the remote stays charged for even longer. Works as expected in the rain and unit identifies as waterproof. I would definitely recommend this product but for dogs no less thank 40lbs. Understand that it is adjustable but the receiver is quite large. I tried it out on my neck first to make sure, I like the lanyard and the setup very sturdy construction all around. Definitely a professional piece of dog training equipment. I've gotten a cheap one before so I know. This one has a case! Much different very happy with it. She knows I have one now so that's also very good for obedience. Don't even need it indoors in the new place, she wouldn't typically need it outdoors except for going off leash to the park or a bicycle ride or something. Just needed that last 10% so we could have more fun together other places, and my gsd understands that I'm sure. What's more cruel a little stimulation to correct unwanted behavior? If your looking for a quality e-collar, this is the one to seriously consider. Everything about this device is excellent. To be able to fine turn the stimulation level to your dogs temperament, battery lenght of time of use, the construction of the transmitter and receiver. The collar and even the attachment of the landyard are well made. You can pay less for an e-collar, but in the long run, that's what you'll wind up with and wish you would have, should have, could have.
