Scratched and dirty

The movie is great and my kids love it but I was totally surprised this disc even played. Both discs were very scratched and there was even something gooey on them. I cleaned them off and they do play so keeping them but disappointed. Read full review...

Easy to Watch, Fun for the WHOLE Family

I first caught this on TV during Christmas time and my 2 year old daughter loved it, we recorded it on DVR but after watching it over and OVER I decided to get a copy to cut out the commercials.( Since I could find it for less than $5)
Its great for the whole family, it reminds of a Shrek like film with jokes the whole family can laugh at. Theres just enough going on in the movie to keep you interested but not so much its hard to follow. GREAT MOVIE for Children and Adults Alike!!

I know many have seen this already, but honestly, either it never really interested me or else I never had the chance to watch it. It's a 2004 film and the first time I watched it was in Jan 2009. Its a VERY GOOD MOVIE, VERY COLORFUL(LOL), kept my interest from beginning to end, and is quite comical. I enjoyed it very much and would watch it again, as we own it now. Mike Myers played a GREAT PART. I think if anyone else besides someone like Mike Meyers or Jim Carrey were to play the part, I may not have enjoyed it.

GOOD FOR ALL AGES! VERY COLORFUL and ACTION FILLED for the younger ones.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Fun for all ages

Me, my wife and 7 year old daughter can sit down and enjoy the movie together.
We all find it’s one of those movies you can watch over and over again and enjoy it every time.

Another Great Live Action Seuss

I originally didn't like this movie but after a few viewings it really grew on me. I love this movie now. Mike Myers is great, Alec Baldwin is hilarious, and the two kids are spectacular. The make up, special effects, and story are awesome and this movie is now one of my favorites.

It's very much like The Grinch so if you loved that movie you'll love this one.

Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (DVD, 2004,Widescreen Ed)

I have been enjoying reading Dr. Seuss' books since I was a youngster! Now my 5 yr old loves Dr. Seuss as well! I only saw this movie ONCE before looking on Ebay to purchase. I believe it plays on our TV at least once a day. My son and his friends can't get enough of it! Mike Myers is the perfect person to play "The Cat"! It is a very funny movie, for youngsters and adults. The ONLY inuendoes I BELIEVE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT OF THE MOVIE was the comment to the garden hoe as if she were a woman. That part is very disrespectful to all woman and children should not be subject to that at such a young age! Besides that, the movie was hilarious, the actors/actress' were wonderful and is certainly a family movie and will remain in our collection for years to come!Read full review...

Very Good Purchae For Me

My 2 year old daughter is in love with this movie- every day she points at her tv or the one in our living room and says "hat?"- For awhile we watched this dvd in the living room on a daily basis- and I actually didnt mind it half the time its a cool movie even thogh its a kid movie, but then again i grew up reading dr suess books....Now we also have the movie on vhs so my daughter can watch it at will in her own room!! No dislikes about it all- A++; I originally bought the movie i guess for 1) I had never seen it before 2) It looked like a kids movie that adults can enjoy too (like Shrek or soemthing) 3) I bought it for a penny from one of my dvd dealersRead full review...
