Unique, artistic and at the same time entertaining.

This disc very unique and will appeal to anyone who is looking for an artistic retelling of a classic horror novel. The performers are from the Winnipeg Ballet and the dance movements are excellent yet the narrative remains faithful to its source material. I generally do not appreciate the films of Guy Maddin but this time he is much more restrained and I feel that makes him more inventive and not less.Read full review...
