Daniel O'Donnell's CD "Dreaming"
I love Celtic/Irish singers so a friend suggested my purchasing a CD of Daniel O'Donnell music. I checked ebay and found a CD of his and used buy it now. When the CD arrived I played all the 20 songs. For me, I enjoy the singers voices more than the background music and with this collection the background music was louder than the singing. However I'm quite sure it would suit the average person who enjoys the sounds of Ireland complete with singer/music so yes I would recommend this CD. Check it out!Read full review...
If you're a fan of Lawrence Welk...............
While I am a fan of Daniel O'Donnell's, I wasn't familiar with the songs on this CD. None were to my liking...all for a generation or two older than me. They were all very pedestrian and pokey, not even entertaining as old standards can often be. O'Donnell's Irish music is engaging, but I bought several of his CD's in a flurry. The gospel and the Irish CD's can be recommended, but not the 'Branson'-style country or the bland crooning on this album. I am not able to recommend it, as even his voice and vocal stylings are very trite and dull here.Read full review...

It is a great music cd with the wonderful voice of Daniel O'Donnell. However, it is not what I thought it would be. IF you like country music with a pretty fast tempo and all of the story telling involved, you will love it. I believed it would be "love songs". Bought it as an add-on to his last compilation of religious music, done for PBS... EHRead full review...
