Love this game

I have the wii version and love that the controls are unique. Using a nunchuk to control the car is really cool. And using your wii Remote as a gun is so cool too. I believe the wii version is the best version of driver PL Control-wise because it's more interactive than using a controller or keyboard. but graphics are a bit weak. It is a bit blurry but thats just the wii's fault. Read full review...

Review of Driver: Parallel Lines (Wii)

It's an ok game, the controls take some time to get used to, but once you get it you are gold. If you are wondering what this game is like I would say it's a toned down version of grand theft auto. The character starts at the bottom and has to work his way up through the ranks by pulling off different jobs making connections etc. I would recommend this game, however don't base the game off of your intial frustration with the controls.Read full review...

Nice game

the game is cool
but not excellent
The "Parallel Lines" suffix refers to New York in two time periods: 1978 and present day. It seems Reflections brought in some metrosexual game-guidance counselors after Driv3r, as your avatar isn't a tough-talking Tanner, but a hippy androgynous waif with girl hips called TK. He sashays around New York, acting as a wheelman for a variety of low-lifes, including the stereotypical black afro-sporting hustler man and the pock-marked leather vest-wearing Latino man, before he's double-crossed, sent to prison for 28 years, and comes out meaner and keen on revenge.Read full review...

Worst Driver Game To Date

I bought Driver San Fransisco..loved it..every aspect of the game is superb...controllers are great and cut-scenes are short like they should be and free roam is tight.....

Driver: Parallel Lines however is another story....First Let me give you the Pro's..there is one..you can exit your vehicle.take another another or even run people over or fight people out of your car.... Now the Cons...Game play is terrible...the control''s in the game just do not work...Z Button is supposed to be your accelerate button but if you dont hold it just right youll skid sideways and the car will stop moving...controls are just non functionable.

Now,if you took the controls in Driver:San Frans9sco and added them to Driver Parallel Lines..the game would be unbeatable.Need for Speed would be no match for this game then...

So,if your looking for a Driving Game that works perfectly in every way and allows you to free roam and is just plain functional-Trust Me Folks..this is NOT it.

Buy Driver San Fransisco for the Best Driving Game Instead....only thing this is missing is you cannot exit your car....otherwise it is perfect.Gameplay,Side Missions and Awards are numerous and i guarantee you'll play for hours....

Driver Parallel Lines just is an Unplayable Game....it shouldnt even be a driver game..for i've owned every driver game to date and loved them all but this one...it is like they threw a car in it..some scenery and dark and light and streets and said.oh well.guess were done...no thought whatsoever went into then controls or the game..they should definately redo this game with the same controls as Driver San Fransisco for a truely awesome experience.Save your money people.

wii driver parallel lines

only real dislike about this game are controls. control setup isn't bad use remote for shooting and nunchuck for driving. The problem i run into sometimes is the handbrake control. What u do is turn nunchuck sideways to handbrake. this means u have to keep nunchuck straight at all times whiloe driving or your veering of course into oncoming traffic. all in all gameplay is good (as long as u can keep nunchuck straightRead full review...

Driver

Driver is really fun, I used to have it for the PC, it is easier to use on Wii. Pretty entertaining, the cars only kindof resemble real cars, it would be cooler if you could drive a corvette, or camaro, or chevy pickup or something, great game to take your mind off things for a little while, not sooper challenging like Grand Theft Auto tries to be. Worth having.Read full review...

Driver: Parallel Lines (Wii)

Driver: Parallel Lines wasn't a good game when it came to conventional consoles over a year ago, and putting it on the Wii hasn't helped matters at all. This Grand Theft Auto clone suffers even more because it's been shoehorned onto the Wii and is saddled with some annoying control shortcomings. Not that sketchy control is the game's only problem. It's almost completely uninspired and devoid of the little things that make these sorts of games entertaining. The characters fall flat, and the story is uninteresting. Add to that some pretty drab mission design, and you've got a title that simply can't add up to a game worth playing.Read full review...

Awesome Product...Just what they wanted!

My Husband and daughter love this game. The lauguage is naughty... but if the volume is down or off the game is ok! They play for hours! My family had rented this game from a game rental place at one time and afterwards we rented and rented it. We purchased it on ebay because it is very hard to find in the gaming stores. In this game the player can steal cars, outrun police and shoot bystanders.. not for under aged! Do you wonder what it would be like to steal a train or a bus while running over things and out-running the police?? Or throw a Cop from his own car and drive away... heres your game!Read full review...

Fun Game; Really Sensitive Controls

I really like the game. The missions and free play are good. The only downside is tha thte controls are pretty sensitive. For some that is good, but I would prefer something a little more forgiving.Read full review...

Good game if you can get it for the right price.

Like any game, it get's a little repetitive after a while. Fortunately I got mine for a VERY cheap price. If you can get it cheap on eBay or something, I highly recommend it, otherwise it's pretty much exactly like the first 3 version of Driver.Read full review...
