Not for passive basses
I purchased this to compliment my Yamaha BB425x which, for a passive bass, has a hot output. The EQ parameters don't have a wide enough range to be very versatile. I found myself having to run at 3 o'clock just to get much of a difference and at full for a obvious difference. With an active bass I could compensate for that but, I bought it to compensate a bass, not the other way around.
