Handheld with qwerty keyboard, modern design, nice output labels.

I was attracted by its modern design, and was confident on the Dymo brand. I have only produced basic labels so far, but they are high quality as expected. I still need to test any PC interfacing, but as for cable-less and handheld operation it fills my needs.
Pros: Good quality labels, futuristic design. Qwerty keyboard with chiclet keys responds well.
Cons: The membrane-part of keyboard is not so responsive, and the symbols are hard to read.

Lightweight, great quality, bold looking, and easy to work with.

Easy software, easy equipment, good-looking, and great quality. LOVE that I can use any font. Pictures don't print so clear, but still way cool to have that option.

Great product

Love this label printer very easy to operate.
The option to connect to pc or Mac makes it very useful. Can print in any language when connect to pc or Mac. D1 cartridges very easy to install and the variation of size and color is beautiful

Only two minor cons dough,
No light in display and no charge option trough USB when connected to computer.

I prefer Qwerty labelers

I havee used Dymo long ago when the only choice was the plastic embossed label. I saw how beautiful modern labels can be. SO, naturally I drifted towards Dymo. Brand is not important, as it appears all these labelers waste tape.

I chose this model because it has several typefaces i really like. could not find anything I liked from Brother or Epson, The computer link I really cool! I can use any typeface on my computer! I and use any clip art or even create my own! looking at reviews and YouTube channels, what I see behind most complaints of all 3 brands, Is people just do not know how to correctly install the cartridges, use it in some other wrong manner, Or drop it, abuse it and expect it to still work. If you want rugged, get the Dymo Rhino series. or Brady makes a series of rugged labelers.

Most every consumer product is made JGE (just good enough), so it works, for awhile, hope you abuse it some how, put out some new models so we buy a new product in a couple of years.

Very pleased with this product. Dymo makes a very nice unit and it does a great job of making nice looking labels. The rechargeable battery makes it easy to produce quality labels.

More features than you will ever use!

You have so many varieties of styles, fonts, and other features you will likely never use them all. You can even design a custom label on your printer and send it to the device for printing.

Most of the handheld label printers are built using ABC keyboards vs. the QWERTY keyboard, and that was a key factor in my decision to buy this scanner. Some people have claimed that using DYMO label makers vs. Brother label makers will save money as the DYMO does waste less label when printing. I need to see if this is Real!...

After unwrapping and placing the rechargeable battery into the back of the labeler, I charged it with the included AC adapter for 3 hours per the instructions. I unplugged the charger and inserted the tape (what the device prints on) into the back of the labeler. I depressed the round, red power button on the lower lefthand side of the LCD screen, confirmed the tape size and then began typing on the Qwerty keyboard what I wanted on a label.

I like how the keys are rubberized and yet soft to the touch. I heard a slight click when the key press was engaged and it was clearly visible on the gray and black LCD screen. Pressing the blue print button to the lower right of the screen printed the label and depressing the large silver button on the righthand side of the labeler cut it off the tape.

Navigation on the labeler is very intuitive and easy to learn. The keyboard buttons depress with a click, but all others are flush and have more of a touchscreen feel.

For me this was a great bargain, and perfect for light or occasional use without the need for lots of special characters. Connecting to your PC is an option and I love the rechargeable capabilities too. (NOTE: Do not use this labeler with the charger attached - per the instructions.)
