Better on Wii
I used this program on Wii for years and it worked without a hitch. On Kinect, it would occasionally lock up if you moved in any way that confused it. Not bad, but other fitness programs such as Nike+ and Your Fitness Evolved work much better on Kinect.Read full review...

Great product for working out by yourself or with a partner.
I have been using the EA Sports Active 2 for going on 3 weeks. I have found it to give me a great workout and the Kinect allows for a nice controller free workout. The Heart Rate monitor was the main reason for trying this one out as I've used some other programs like Jenny McCarthy Your Shape on the Wii, which gives a decent workout but the heart rate monitor really allows for a better idea of how much you are actually pushing yourself.
Another pro to EA Sports Active 2 is the ability to work out with a partner, my wife and I enjoy the ability to now workout together and push each other on as we go. You can do the joint workout even if you don't have two heart rate monitors, however we did just purchase a 2nd monitor so we can both see more accurately how we are doing together.
This workout comes with a resistant band, or if you are like me you can change the settings to use your choice of free weights instead. The workout gives you a good warm up period and cool down period for each workout program where some of the ones I've tried in the past skip the warm up cycle.Read full review...

WILL GET YOU OFF THE COUCH. TO HAVE A GOOD TIME
A game which the family can use or couple to get back off the couch and get into shape.
EA should sell this item with Two monitors and bands. This would get more couples involved.
EA is selling the extra from their store.
It is a excellent game which has the player taking part and getting into shape.
way to go EA.Read full review...
Great workout!!! (awkward menus)
It took a while to set up the first time you use it and the targets to get to a workout are a little awkward to hit when you want to work out...making you go through multiple menus to get there. The workout themselves are great, good variety, you do not do anyone thing for very long, so on a 30 minute workout - you have 25 activities....and you get water breaks.Read full review...
A complete personal trainer in a(n) (x)box.
Right from the get-go it is a wealth of cardiovascular and resistance training. The first 30 minutes after opening it I've created my profile, two custom workouts, and had time to get the best excercize I've gotten since before winter. I say it's a personal trainer in a box and if purchased with the 360&Kinect bundle it could very well be as good if not better than paying gym dues.. Do the math then rent or buy a copy and see if you don't agree..Read full review...
EA Sports Active 2
I like it as much as I can for being an EXERCISE game! I enjoy the fact that I do not have to use a remote to with it since I have the Kinect for Xbox. It is also something that my son and I can use together, instead of him sitting idle infront of a video game. I would recommend it to any person who is starting out with exercise and really isn't ready to join a gym or who doesnt have the time to go to a gym.Read full review...
EA SPORTS ACTIVE SUCKS!
This piece of software suckss! It tracks poorly,it's uninteresting and on top of that it's confusing to use! I never was able to setup the heartrate monitor!
I'm pretty angry with microsoft for licensing poorly designed games with the kinect! I bought the kinect for Christmas and it came with one game that was good. I went out and bought 4-5 other games and none of them were good except for one..Dance Central. The kinect is an awesome piece of machinery, but; until they get the software companies to come out with games that work...it's just not worth the money!Read full review...
very good workout
The only thing I don't like is the heart rate sensor can be temperamental at times and is kinda bulky (expected something closer to an ipod nano or mini...) but no worries it does joy interfere with your workout unless you wear it improperly and snag it on urself... but all in all a great intense workout program and the intro to the fitness can be more than enough for the usual person alone

Interactive gaming experience for anyone looking to have fun working out
Great way to stay in shape
Very comparable to Wii fitness games
Xbox 360 has elevated its status in the gaming world by becoming interactive like the
Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation PS3 Move
Stay with the programs and see yuorself get in shape
Very good for beginning exercisers, not as beneficial for athletes or physically fit individuals
All in all, helps to bring the family together and makes exercise variable and fun :)Read full review...
