Older Pre built PC, great card for me!

I purchased a refurbished HP 800 G1 i7 4790 and installed 8gb more ram (total 16gb) from a box I had laying around. Added Kingston 480gb SSD and the Nvidia 750Ti which cost me $264.00 total. Windows 10 came with the unit and cloned to the SSD. I am a novice and this is my first box like this and I am very happy with the outcome. The few older games I have can run at least at Medium or higher and I don't get lag or stuttering when there is a lot of action at one time. The Nvidia 750Ti is very quiet and draws power from the PCIE slot and I kept the stock power supply 320watts but may change out later if I get a more power hungry card.

Good Older Graphics Adapter Card

If you have an older tower or mini-tower computer that will not accommodate a graphics card requiring additional power or space is a limitation, then this nVidia GTX 750 Ti card will breath new life into an older Sandy/Ivy bridge Intel based computer. You will still be hard pressed to play the latest AAA games but you will get great video performance from an otherwise tired old computer.

Note: This particular graphics card is NOT suitable for SFF or USFF size configurations as the card itself is too tall for many smaller form factors. nVidia did offer a 750 Ti passive cooled low form factor gaming card for SFF configurations under a different product number. Read full review...

Only has high frames for a small amount of time

Worth the cost to upgrade an older system. Could play most of the popular games with decent frame rates.

Compact, fit in my small case, worked with my older motherboard (although conflicted with my on-board RAID controller), stays cool, updated my older system to be much snappier.
