Poor memory backplate cooling. Minus one star for poor memory cooling under the backplate

Liquid cooling is mainly aimed at the core, and it does a good job, with any overclocking the core temperature averages 45C. But the cooling of the memory is not very good. From the front, where the core is, heat from the memory is transferred through the plate to the adjacent water block of the core. It was possible to make the water block larger so that it also covers the memory. There is no water on the back of the card. And it’s not clear why they didn’t make a sandwich. This is the same 3090 and the memory is on the back of the printed circuit board, and it heats up under 100C, and only a small metal plate removes heat. As a result, the cooling needs to be improved. Or put a large needle-shaped radiator through the thermal spacers on the backplate. Or put an active backplate on the water from the ekwb.

Awesomesauce!

Its a beast. I hashes, it slashes, it games with ease and with out the outrageous temps of the founders edition. The blower on the card is amazing as it runs separate of the GPU and allows for execellent card temps doing just about everything. The fan cooled cards shouldn't exist they shoulda just made more of these. Then there's the price...moneys just money, so If'n I gotta pay top dollar for top card then ehh. Read full review...
