Good product at an excellent value. arrive as stated, Worked very well out of the box. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Much better than just a plain shock collar because you can use different alert levels for training. Have had it over a week and have not had to use the shock portion yet. My dog is an 4 pound Maltipoo that likes to run ,jump just real hyper and do her own thing. Transmitter signal carries a hundred feet or more and through walls. What we ordered but not what we expected.
This is what we were looking for but it’s hard to tell if it’s on or not. Obviously, if it’s not on, it serves no purpose to help train our dog. Push the button all you want and she gets no warning sounds or shocks to get her attention. Then the one time it did work, she was miserable at 4 when the thing goes from 0 to 100 for shock strength. Worked great until my dog died
Worked great kept my chihuahua in the yard after only a few days of training. the sad part is we had him finally trained to stay in the yard wo a lead and a neighbors pit (one of 4) dug under their fence and attacked him & me. Although he survived The initial attack (and the shock collar survived as well as it was bitten off & scratched but still works) my dog died a week later from complications before surgery. Now i wish I’d let him run out of the yard, he’d obviously have been safer. Still a great item worked great and it wasn’t the collars fault. I’d recommend this item to someone even w an older dog. Actually, It's Very Pet Friendly!
I purchased this several months ago to train a new Bichon pup we got. The pup was bad about running off to the neighbors and would not listen when I called him back, but rather just looked at me and kept going. For his safety's sake this could not be allowed to continue. I began looking for a training collar. The local stores were very expensive, over $100 for the least expensive one. I thought I'd take a chance on this collar. I liked the fact that it gave me three options, sound, vibrate and shock. Well, my dog listens VERY well to me now. I never have to call him twice. He responded so well to the "sound" and "vibrate" feature that I have NEVER had to use the shock. Nice to know it's there if needed, but each behavior I have wanted to "adjust" I have only had to use the collar one time! I took him out on a lead and gave him a little room and called him and when he did not respond instantly, I gave him the "sound" treatment. He jumped like he was scared and I used the lead to direct him toward me. I praised him for coming to me and gave him a treat and that was that. First time he headed for the neighbors, who have two dogs, I called him he looked at me and then started to continue, I hit the button, and he made a bee-line back to me. Another treat and some praise and it was in the bag, he has always come to me on the first call after that. I have used the "vibrate" feature only one time and that was when he was out in the yard a lone and started to wonder off the property. I was in the house and "buzzed" him, he stopped in his tracks and returned back into our yard and doesn't show any interest in wondering off again. Effective and Easy to Use
This training collar is perfect. I love that it has 3 modes, sound, vibration, and shock. During training, I only used the sound and a few times the vibration. This did the trick and I've very rarely had to just tap the shock. The remote is easy to use and the colors are great as to not hit the wrong mode. I like this dog collar, it charges the collar and the controller at the same time! the collar battery lasts for a long time. I found out if you press and hold the button on the collar it turns off. This is an effective tool to train your dog with options to not have to shock the dog unnecessarily. The collar has a good range as my dog has come running back from 4 houses down on the first day when we used it the first time. It has a beep warning that has been very effective in the training process. As soon as my dog hears that beep it stops and sits. It also has a vibration that I use instead of the shock that is very effective. It has an intensity level that can be set.
