Timeless music of a timeless band

I've been a long time EWF admirer, their songs are timeless, so I think they are not vintage, old or new school, they just started on the right decade, to produce the greatest R&B, Funk and Jazz music. On this particular show the requesters often spoke about third generational listeners, grandfather, father and son linstening to their music together. Fabulous. Just think about an almost 50 years old (at the time of the show) bassist Verdine White running and rolling down the stage during a bass duel. Earth, Wind & Fire at their best!!!

I am have always been an avid fan of Earth, Wind & Fire. When I seen a video of them performing "Reasons" on YouTube, I wish I could see more. In one of the blogs, someone stated this concert was for sale on Ebay. So I rushed to find it and at a great price. I now enjoy the entire "Live By Request" concert.

Earth Wind & Fire -Live by Request (DVD,2002) Only Average

Usually these Live -Live by Request DVD are great so when I found this concert by the Earth Wind & Fire I purchased it.

I watch the concert and I was a little disappointed released in 2002 most of the original group were replaced
and there great songs just were not there.
