What A Great Invention!
These do work and are so easy to use! I put one spray of cooking spray in the egglette before breaking the egg into it and screwing the top on.
This is such a blessing for those of us who do love hard-boiled eggs, but have problems with arthritis or shred them while trying to peel them! They come out of the holder easily and work great for deviled eggs, egg salad, etc. I'm so happy egg salad is back on the menu! They're also very easy to clean.
Give them a try, I think you'll be as pleased with them as I am.Read full review

Not Impressed
no instructions. Did not say to spray with non stick spray first. Most eggs popped out okay....some stuck and came out a bit mis-shaped. Cleaning is a mess.. skin of the egg has stuck and must scour with plastic scrubber.....will try with spray and see if that turns out better. As it stands now....what with trying to clean them....it is not worth it. If spraying works out, this would be a great product.Read full review

egglette schmegglette
First of all, the egg does stick to the container unless you coat it with a cooking spray or veg., canola or olive oil. You spend as much time preparing , cooking and extracting the eggs as you would normally, so what's the advantage? Secondly, the package I received had no instructions or cooking tips. the only advice I got was from a Chef on u-tube. He seemed quite satisfied with them.
My first venture with them was deviled eggs. Not pretty! The cooked egg ends up with one flat end and very thin walls, which makes it difficult to handle and not very attractive on the plate.
The Chef on TV made soft boiled eggs and some egg shaped omelets, which looked very tasty. It would be nice to have a booklet for cooking ideas for a little inspiration. I will forge ahead with my own trials and possible errors, but they may end up on the kitchen shelf with other "short-falls".
Not impressed.Read full review

Junk !
I followed the directions right to the letter and they still stuck !! When I put them in the boiling water they just wanted to roll over and because of this some of the eggs were misshapen and stuck in the lids as well which was very hard to clean out! As for the clean up, NOT easy like they claimed ! Even using spray cooking oil they still stuck and had to be scrubbed with a dish pad !! Not easy at all and at 16 minutes, might as well do it the old fashioned way ! This is much more difficult and takes MUCH longer all in all !!Read full review

Not as advertised
This product does not work with the ease they are portrayed to have on TV. You have to time the eggs or they will over cook in the silicone cup and become difficult to remove. Even when they are timed, youneed to loosen them with a spoon to get them out of the cup and even then, they don’t come out uniform like on tv, nor do they clean as easy as the dishwasher. They come out of the dishwasher with dried egg all over the inside and even if you turn them inside out, they still dry with egg on them.
Also, the package did not come with any instructions.
Very disappointed in this product.Read full review

Egglettes not too bad, but not like the comercials.
I tried soft boiling eggs. The sides and bottom cook but the center top doesn’t get heated so it doesn’t cook very well. They cook from the sides and bottom in and up. So I think they will do alright for hardboiling.
You have to oil and run a spoon around the inside for them to release so its not just crack and egg, boil and pop em out.Read full review

Good idea, but no as useful as anticipated
Good idea, but does not work as well as I hoped. The containers generally roll over in hot water, that is not float upright as shown. Appears if if the product is a bit top heavy, and if not completely filled will not float properly.Read full review

Wish the instructions were with product but ....
I will try to use these cute little eggletts again. I went on the internet to see if there was hints, ideas and instructions on the use as there was none with the product. Should done that first because I decided to try the product out. So I set out trying them out. Cracked the eggs into the containers, screwed the little top on. I used a 3 inch deep skillet with a lid instead of a pot. The way I make hard boiled eggs is to put on pot of water, bring to boil and let them boil for about 4-5 minutes. Cover then remove from heat. I let them sit for like 20 minutes. So I did then same thing with the Eggletts. They cooked just fine. The only thing wrong was I forgot to spray a edible cooking oil in the little cups. 🤠So they didn’t pop out like on TV. But I will be doing that again. In the mean time, I’ll chill them them spoon out the egg to eat. Other than that, I think they’ll work.Read full review
