Electro Harmonix has done it again with this super cool synthesizer pedal. We all can't add another member to the band let alone fit on some of these stages! Let's face it, if you are a killer rock guitarist and you show up to audition for a band with a roland synth bolted to beautiful quilted maple PRS you're so fond of, you are going to get the spot, however you're now a sax player, piano player, flute or whatever a song needs....you just opened a spot for another shredder!!! Don't let this happen to you! Get this way cool Synth pedal, add some accents and depth to songs and still be a guitar slayer! Great fun sounds but not worth the price.

Well built pedal but requires separate 9V AC power unlike my pedal board power. To play, you must relearn fretting to play like keyboard with extensive palm/finger muting. Limited sounds. Initial reaction was it only plays whole notes :-) as it has no attack or decay settings. Some settings raise or lower octaves (like Pog). Any cheap keyboard has way more (Roland GR55 at 3 times the price has 100+ voices). If you gig, maybe one song in your set might use it. Others like the Organ9 or Key9.
