A guide to American hallmarks - past and present
An invaluable book for any silver collector. Hallmarks are listed alphabetically by company and also by hallmark/logo alone. Concise history of each maker including their silverplate work and marks. I use this guide as a reference on a regular basis and love to just leaf through it - it's like an historical biography of American silversmiths.Read full review...

I am running into a lot of silverplate in going to auctions and needed to find out more about it. This book had good reviews so when I saw it for the right price, I decided to try it.
