Epson 1430 are great light commercial printer

Got it for a back up printer... the Epson 1430's are getting harder to find... price has went from $ 350.00 new to a round $2,000.00 in just 4 years. $300.00 used is now what one would call a deal. I think the Epson's 1430 printer that can print sizes up to 13 x 19 is a great work horse printers... Read full review...

Prints great but slow and lacks all in one features.

I had an earlier version of an Artisan printer and did not research the features of this one before buying it. I missed that it is not an all in one so has no scan capability. It does an excellent job printing but is no speed demon and lacks other features. On the other hand, it does handle ledger size paper which is a good benefit. Overall, I am glad it is in my home but it is used far less than I thought it would be.Read full review...

Replaced my Stylus 1400 which died after 6 years. Not disappointed!! Great quality print!

I wondered if any printer could live up to the quality of the Stylus 1400 I had for 6 years. But I a, totally satisfied. I do graphic art work and the print quality is right up to my standards. For the price....this is an amazing bargain!Read full review...

Epsom Artisan 1430 review

Good value. Easy set up. Good print quality. Very slow to print, about 4 minutes per page. Good customer support.

Like liberating a stillborn calf

--The printer was shipped in an EXTREMELY well packed box.

Plugged it in, introduced it to my computer, printed out a perfect test. Printer had been, idk? --ArmorAll'd--and was gleaming and tidy.

I was very nervous about buying the not-cheap and somewhat delicate item, but I'm quite happy now.

Great color and good paper is available several places.

I own a 1430 nd Epson regularly runs these with either a $50 or $80 rebate shipping is free from Epson USA. Refilling is easy and inexpensive and there are good quality inks from several sources. ARC cartridges for the 1400 do not function in the 1430 at least the ones I have do not. So do some searching prior to getting a refillable. I use Red River Premium Matte and the prints look great on this economical paper.Read full review...

For the money, quality, and convienence, there is none better.

I needed a large format printer to replace my old one when I found this one. Using permanent inks, the pictures can last to the next century and the quality when printing on "B" size photo paper is impecible. The real benefit has been the wi-fi hookup which allows both myself and my wife to print from the same printer. She is involved in cross stitch graphs and frequently needs images larger than can be handled on a "normal" printer as do I. We have both retained our "normal" printers, but frequently wind up needing the large format.Read full review...

Excellent Mid Range Wide Format Inkjet

These printers are a superb value for the price. Affordable enough for home use and tough enough for light commercial use. Epson has the best color and detail hands down. I own two of them, one for printing photos and vinyl film and one for dye sublimation.Read full review...
