Rare, one of a kind sim
Having had this copy back when it first came out in 1998, gave me good insight as to what this particular game brought to the table in terms of re-playability and first and last impressions. EAW is one of those rare, once in a lifetime games, created with as much accuracy, detail, history and fun....all rolled into one....that a gamer could have possibley hoped for back in that time. It was one of those kind of games that was nearly made before it's time really! I wish a game developer would acquire this license and overhaul and revamp the entire game to bring it up to modern day expectancy. There just were not too many air combat flight sims that could compete, outside of MS Combat Flight Sim games.........there was only 1, that I'm aware of, that was available at that time. It is, without doubt, an interesting, immersive and fun game and if you can get it to run on an XP system without too much trouble, then you're in for a real treat. But if you have a Vista computer, then forget it and just save all of the in-game on-screen pics of this game as you can, because that's as close as you're gonna get to playing it! Euro Air War
One of my favorite games. the planes are very cool, and can be set up to be a stable gun platform, or can be as difficult to fly and fight from as the originals must have been.
not entirely compatible with my newer machine, but patches are available.
my favorite thing: low-speed passes on bomber formations, checking them out as i swing by before gunning it and rolling around to blast the Luftwaffe out of the sky!Read full review...
Great dealer and fine product.
This is a really neat classic flight sim. Be sure your system is compatable with the software in the sim from 1998. I am using XP and it is fine. Windows 7 and the horrible Windows 8 are not compatable. The dealer is top notch, very helpful and for me a favorite seller.Read full review...
