Eurythmics : Peak Performance
Well, I do not understand why I need to do TWO reviews of everything... This DVD is the BEST CONCERT DVD I Have Ever Owned. The unusual way the event was recorded made the CONTENT ie: Music, that much more rewarding and enjoyable. Even though they were an 80s Thing - the Eurythmics just did things Better. And the DVD is Proof. Recorded in 1999. Most of the "Hits" are there. The content is sonically superior and visually de-emphasized, via a black and white, checkered style - most unusual - that made ME focus on the Music, which was spectacular. Again, this DVD is my Favorite Concert Performance. Prior to this, the 1987 Eurythmics "Live" was "IT" - on Vinyl and CD. In fact, "Miracle of Love" played at My Wedding. If You are a Fan of the Eurythmics - You Must Have This DVD. And, You Will Thank Me!Read full review...

I bought this DVD when my Son was in the 5th Grade. He’s 28 years old now and still loves this DVD.
I loved the 1960s, ‘70s, & Classic Rock of The 1980s. My 1st 45 vinyl record was THE LETTER By The Box Tops at 7 years old.
I loved The Eurythmics when they came out with the MTV Video of SWEET DREAMS.
My Son grew up with The Eurythmics, HEART (Which made him a Fan 3 years ago of LZZY HALE & HALESTORM because they released a Cover of Ann & Nancy Wilson’s “All I Want To Do!”)!
He still listens to Eurythmics “I WANT IT ALL, WOULD I LIE TO YOU, WHY, SWEET DREAMS, HERE COMES THE RAIN AGAIN” from this DVD.
I think ICONS like The Eurythmics are no longer Rock and Roll Groups! They’re INSTITUTIONS FOR FUTURE FANS.
This Peace Tour CONCERT IS SO WORTH HAVING IT IN YOUR MUSICAL LIBRARY FOR LIFE. My Son and I actually saw AC/DC TOGETHER about 10 years ago! Buy a copy before you can no longer find this DVD!!Read full review...
