Good read
Honestly Signoras story wasn't at all my cup of tea and I felt like the author tried really hard to make her behavior and the situation normal which it absolutely is not. Her actions were dismissed and there were never any consequences. Needless to say all of the other characters were very likable and I enjoyed their stories. Read full review...

Great Read!
My first Maeve Binchy! She was recommended by a very good friend and I am enjoying this lovely book very much! Lots of great characters, Irish culture, emotions, big cross section of everything.

Kudos to Maeve Binchy for 'Evening Class'
I read about this book on an e-friend's book blog, rushed out to buy it, and when I got it, rushed to finish reading it. The thing is over 500 pages long and I had it finished by bedtime the same day, as I recall. I like the way the narrative is organized, I like the twists and turns in the plot and how the world is just so small - it turns out that the most improbable people know each other from outside of the Evening Class and end up in it by recommendation from their friends. So I'm a happy camper and highly recommend this book.Read full review...
