Very fun street art movie 🎥

I loved it Grafiti Artist gone wild + Gorilla Marketing

I love Mr. Brainwash, for the simple fact that he was smart about what he learned, and turned it in to profit.

This is exactly why the guys in this film hate him. Resent him.

So here's a guy who creams knowledge from other established Street or Graffiti artists, turns that into a show of his own, creating art in the Andy Warhol style [point and direct others to do the work], had his own big show, and made a killing.

What kills these artsy guys he gleaned his skills from is that, he didn't pay his dues. Work his way up the ranks, no... Mr. Brainwash went right to the top. And brainwashed all the art critics and collectors, via a LA Weekly article that gave him instant street cred.

Tagging has come out of the dark ages. Marketing is king. There is something to be learned from this awesome film. Watch it, and glean.

Surprisingly satisfying documentary.

This movie wasn't what i thought it was going to turn out to be. However I was very pleasantly surprised and satisfied after viewing it. If you are into documentaries and are looking for something for something different, check out this movie. An everyday average guy turns out to be a media sensation for becoming a street artist. It's unbelievable that he becomes so successful after such a short time period. Ironically the cameraman becomes the star of the film. There are some great pieces of art that are shown throughout the movie. Check it out next time you want to see a different kind of documentary.Read full review...

If you are interested in Street Art, this is not to be missed.

I was told by a friend that this movie was a keeper. The story of the Frenchman in Hollywood taking up filming every aspect of his life , then focusing on his cousins' street art , then graffiti artists in Europe and America, then on Banksy who is the ultimate street artist and super secretive and finally the Frenchman becomes a world class street artist himself. Awesome film

I bought this for my wife who is a high school art teacher. She also loves graffiti art and Shepard Fairey and Banksy. I can appreciate art but I have to say, this film was awesome. I would watch it again and highly recommend it. Is "Mr. Brainwash" a real artist or a concoction of Fairey and Banksy?Read full review...
