Very Cool for a VW enthusiasts desk decor

Very cool, actually depicts a 1200 engine with an oversized Bosch distributer with centrifugal advance and the carburetor seems too tall. The valve timing was a little tricky - had to reset it. Over all a very cool model of an early VW engine. I may add a fuel line and redo the wiring. Also they should have molded the cylinder numbers on the shrouds like the real ones. Also the spark plus wires are too long it's like the distributer was made for a larger model. the muffler is a rare 1 outlet pipe type, very cool. Great kit of a great engine

Like the other kits from Franzis it is easy and a nice kit to build. I have built many kits kike these over the years and it is great to find someone that has engineered the pitfall of the others out. The clear plastic one were always brittle over time and discolored. Love to see the Rolls Merlin engine done in 1/4 scale to go with the Renwal 1/4 round engine. That is the one I used to teach people about round aircraft engine operation.
