fender mini amp

This amp paks a real punch for its tiny size. The one mini fender speaker, has overdive tone and volume , The Overdrive works far to well on my guitar. The sound is perect for practicing almost anywhere. It is never to loud no matter how much you crank it up. Fits perfectly in your guitar case so if you get the itch to play you can anywhere, inexpensive and it looks cool has that retro vibe to it..I'd buy another if i had another guitar..

Kids toy.

I will say it works for a simple speaker, but, it is very toy like and for the price I expected more. It also has a hum to it that is even worst using ear buds. I tried to use a distortion peddle and only got a high pitched scream when I gave it power. Also using a 9v power cord wouldn't work either. Only works
with a battery. For a kid, OK, for an adult, not so much.

It's extremely small!!!

I thought it was going to be much bigger, infact...Large...But that ones one me I guess, it says "mini".
I love it though! Very great for traveling and gigs, very loud great acoustics....Nice battery life so far....
One non perk would be that after a little while of usage it starts to static, so that sucks! But overall a very god amp for the size. it's probably about 6 inches long, and 4 inches wide something like that...Good amp though...

Conversation piece and decent tone to boot...

The Fender Mini Tonemaster guitar amp has surprising tones. You won't get a lot of low end due to the size of the drivers. The distortion is more suited to single coil pups and sounds pretty good. I am going to take a look at the clipping circuit and see if I can clean it up at all(slightly muddy). I am also going to mod mine by installing a GFS delay modboard in it. That way, the mini amp will have some retro analog delay to dial in. Overall, a neat and decent sounding mini amp. Louder than you would expect. My girlfriend loves the way it looks. Now I can leave a guitar amp right out on the end table without it being a nuisance. lol. Ryan Rister of KelliSaid.Read full review...

Great guitar Amplifier given its price.

This is a great guitar amplifier for the price. It would be even better if it had Reverb functionality and a Line Out option that wasn't necessarily only for MP3, but for the price it's a pretty good deal. I'd recommend it for both beginners as well as more experienced guitarists who just need something small and compact for practice purposes especially given that it does have an output jack for headphones (and it accepts the standard 1/4" input plug). Just like the good ole days did.Read full review...

Pretty good sound for its size; Pretty cheap and fun as a toy amp.

This is a pretty loud amp and has a pretty good sound for an amp its size. The gain sounds pretty bad and I try to avoid using it when possible. The battery life lasts for days of use and is practical for camping or just practicing at home in different rooms. I wouldn't suggest this as a real dedicated home practice amp for daily use since it has no low mid or high controls. This amp sounds a bit grainy but its a great toy amp or portable clip on amp to carry in your guitar case pouch.Read full review...

The... TONE...

I plugged a cheap 30" kid's guitar into this, fired this up, and started to play with it. The brand "Mini Tone Master" is no lie! It will crunch like a metal extremist, it will clean up and get glassy like a Strat. The tone knob is what blew me away- it's not muddy bass and twangy treble, it works like a variable pickup switch! Set it on 0, and you're in the neck pickup. At 5, and you're neck/mid pickups (that glassy Strat tone!) At 10, and it's the bridge pickup! Plus, you can fine-tune on that for the perfect pickup tone. Add gain, and this thing literally rivals guitar tones like Clapton and Allman. Add even more gain, and you're into Billy Gibbons tone. No really, this thing is a tone monster in an (almost) pocket-sized package! I can't wait to plug my guitars into this- I might record a track just to really see the tone characteristics of this little amp. Trust me on this- GO BUY ONE! You won't be disappointed.Read full review...

Small but with good sound for a lightweight amplifier

This is not a stadium amplifier, or strong enough for a concert hall. It is a great small amplifier for practicing when overwhelming volume will wake everyone in the house or start the neighbors complaining. It has great sound and dissolves any fuzz or squelch. The controls are easy to use and adjust with great range for such a small amp. I bought the amp for an inexpensive junior guitar (38") so i could practice and improve my skill after a 3 decade hiatus. I did not want to invest a lot of money only to find that I was no longer interested in really stepping out. It is perfect for me to relearn, and to sample some new music with an electric acoustic guitar. I made a very good choice, and recommend this amp if you want to practice on your front porch or in your living or rec room. The sound is incredible for a one ampere peak to peak amplifier. Much louder and more defined than one would expect. The fidelity is excellent. A great buy for a small start without having to take out a 2nd mortgage.Read full review...

Great tone from a small amp

Fantastic tone, take it virtually anywhere! Very light weight!! Only negative thing I can say about it is it is made of plastic... Other than that, it is a fantastic amp and I use it every day!!

Fender Mini Tonemaster Amp

We purchased this product for our son who is just learning how to play the guitar. It is absolutely perfect for him. Very convenient to move around from room to room and works just like a full sized amp! He loves it! The sound quality is amazing!
Would recommend this for any new musician or someone who just wants an amp that is easily accessible and works amazingly well!!
